So i installed Windows Vista beta 2 on my computer on a different partition, obviously, the main partition is using Windows XP pro, in which to view photos on the xbox 360 (not in the windows media extender) i was using Windows media connect, and all worked fine. Music, and pictures would all stream without problem to the 360 within its dashboard (not the WMC Extender)
Within Vista beta 2 however, Windows media connect doesnt work, and i know its partially because there is Windows Media Center built into the OS, but this doesnt seem to allow me to tell my PC which folder(s) to allow my 360 to access my photo's from. As for music i figured it out, i went into Windows media player 11, and told it where my music folder was, and added it into my library and that works for streaming music to the 360, but when i did this for the photos (the same way i added music to the library), when i access the photo's section of the 360 dashboard, it just says "no picutres found".
Does anybody know of a way to allow Vista beta 2 to stream the photo's to my 360, without being in the media center extender software on the 360?

Streaming photo's from Vista beta 2 to xbox 360.
Don't think there is a way to do it - unless you put the wireless on the Xbox maybe? Not sure... not a big gamer myself.
